- Moisten the Lung and relieve sore throat
Sore throat and choking cough

Suggested Daily Dosage: Eaten raw or cooked, or applied to affected area. Often used as thickening agent for cooling, moistening balms.
Notable Constituents:
- Avidin
A tetrameric glycoprotein found in egg whites noted for its high binding affinity to biotin (vitamin B7). It is denatured by cooking.
