Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Clears Heat and resolves Toxicity, disperse swelling and alleviates pain
    Welling abscesses and boils, sudden Toxic swellings of unknown origin (無名腫毒 Wuming Zhong Du)

    Scabies and ringworm

Suggested Daily Dosage: Generally ground and applied externally. When used internally, 3-6g is decocted and taken with caution due to pro-opioid alkaloids which may produce symptoms similar to morphine.


Cautions: Do not use for vaginal ulcers due to Cold-Dampness.
