Traditional Actions: Warm the kidney and tonify yang, astringe to stop bleeding.
Traditional Indications: Vomiting, poor appetite, loose stool, soreness and pain in lumbar and knees, leucorrhea, frequent urination, enuresis, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, impotence, deficiency-cold in spleen and stomach.


Suggested Daily Dosage: 5-10g in decoction.


Cautions: It is contraindicated in case of yin deficiency with effulgent fire.
