Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Invigorates Heart Yang and Regulates Heart Blood
    Palpitations in the elderly, palpitations and insomnia
    Hematemesis due to Lung atrophy (when combined with Lung Yin tonics), embolism
  2. Tonfies Kidney Yang and Expels Wind-Dampness
    Wind-Damp Bi Syndromes, low back pain
    Impotence, premature ejaculation, cold limbs, infertility due to Cold in the Uterus
    Dizziness, fatigue
  3. Nourishes the Blood
    Dizziness, fatigue, insomnia, bleeding gums

Suggested Daily Dosage: 10-15g in decoction, soaked in wine, or made into pills.


Cautions: Caution in Yin deficiency or with any signs of Heat as its warmth may damage the Blood.
