Traditional Actions/Indications:
- Clears Heat, resolves toxicity, generates fluids and improves the condition of the throat
Sore throat due to Win-Heat Invasion or Heat Toxin Accumulation
Dry, parched mouth and throat with irritability, thirst hoarseness, coughing with sticky sputum (fresh made into a paste), epilepsy, polydipsia, hematemesis with coughing, bacillary dysentery, fugutoxin
- Resolves alcoholic intoxication
Alcohol intoxication
Suggested Daily Dosage: 6-12g in decoction.
Cautions: It is contraindicated for early stage of exterior syndrome.
