Properties: Sweet, slightly cold

Primary: Spleen, stomach and large intestine


Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Moistens the Five Zang and replenishes the Meridians, moves Qi and facilitates the bowels
    Constipation due to intestinal dryness caused by loss of body fluids
    Assists the Spleen and Stomach to transport and transform fluids
    Heat in the Large Intestine
    Red and white dysentery, especially in children

Suggested Daily Dosage: Cooked and eaten as food, 15-30g per day.


Notes:

This would cover most products made from milk curd such as yoghurt or cheese.

Different milks have different nutrition content and so may vary in their applications.
