Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Nourishes the Heart and Calm the Shen
    Palitations and insomnia
  2. Fortifies the Spleen and disperses Food Stagnation
    Gastritis, indigestion
  3. Clear Heat and promotes urination
    Damp-Heat jaundice
    Cholecystitis
    Oedema
    Inhibited urination, especially with reddish colour
    Externally for wounds, skin rashes, inflammation, itch and eczema

Suggested Daily Dosage: 6-12g in decoction. Larger doses may be used for a purgative effect.


Cautions: Caution in people with weak Spleen and diarrhoea or colitis.
