  1. Dispels Wind and transforms Phlegm
    Childhood Fright Wind
    Pain from Wind-Damp Bi Syndrome
    Cough and wheezing with copious phlegm

    Knocks and falls, fractures
  3. Resolves Toxicity and disperses swelling
    Fever, sore throat, swollen glands with difficulty swallowing
    Poisonous snake bites
    Swollen welling abscesses, sores and boils
    Red eyes, inflammation of the mouth and lips
    Liver and Spleen enlargement

Suggested Daily Dosage: 3-9g in decoction.


Cautions: It is contraindicated to pregnant women and weak people.


Notes:

Lataksiri लताक्षीरी is generally T. indica syn. asthmatica and known as Yin Du Wu Er Teng 印度娃儿藤 in Chinese (literally Indian Baby Vine) with almost identical indications in Ayurveda (Ayurwiki.org) and sharing similar chemical composition (Zhou, Xie & Yan, 2011).
