Traditional Actions: Clear heat and remove toxicity, strengthen the heart and promote diuresis, cool blood and stop bleeding.
Traditional Indications: Sore throat, sores and boils, edema, abdominal distension, hematemesis, snake and insect bites, cardiac failure, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, diphtheritis.
Suggested Daily Dosage: 3-9g in decoction.
Cautions: It is contraindicated to pregnant women. Overdosage can cause side effect.
