Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Clears Heat, resolves Toxicity and promotes urination
    Difficult urination, urination with blood
    Food poisoning with parasites
  2. Stops bleeding
    Nosebleed, vomiting blood
    Haemorrhoids
    Sores and boils (applied externally)

Suggested Daily Dosage: 60-120g in decoction.


Notes:

Also used in Sri Lanka for lowering blood sugar and in India for jaundice and nervous debility.
