Suggested Daily Dosage: 7-14g in decoction.

- D-Luciferin / Luciferase
Substrate and enzyme responsible for fireflies' bioluminescence. They react in the presence of Mg2+ to create a flash of light in the green/blue (550 - 570 nM) spectrum. This is used in biological assays to measure ATP content because the intensity of the luminescence is proportional to the ATP present.
