Yu Mu Pi

Translation: Fish Tree Bark

Pharmaceutical: Cortex Cratevae

Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Breaks up obstructions in the urinary system
    Lin Syndrome
    Painful, dribbling urination
    Incontinence, enuresis, hypotonic or atonic bladder
    Benign prostatic hypertrophy
    Chronic urinary tract infections
  2. Warms the Middle Jiao and descends Qi to promote digestion and clear Parasites
    Abdominal distention
    Worms
  3. Reduces swelling in the neck
    Scofula, swollen lymph nodes

Suggested Daily Dosage: 1-6g in decoction.


Cautions: Pregnancy due to its descending nature.
