Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Dries Dampness and resolves Phlegm
    General oedema with Yin jaundice, chronic dysentery, chronic diarrhoea
  2. Kills parasites and dispels Accumulation
    Malnutrition, infantile malnutrition
  3. Nourishes the Blood and controls bleeding
    Anaemia, jaundice due to Blood Deficiency, hematochezia due to intestinal bleeding
  4. Removes Toxins and controls furuncles
    Furuncles, eczema, scabies, pharyngitis, oral lesions, blepharitis ulcerosa, aphthae

Suggested Daily Dosage: 0.8-1.6g as powder or pills. Should not be decocted.


Cautions: It is contraindicated to pregnant women and people with dyspepsia.
