Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Warms Lung Qi, resolves Phlegm and calms wheezing
    Wheezing and asthma from Cold-Phlegm, especially in those with underlying Kidney Yang Deficiency
    Wheezing and shortness of breath from Lung consumption
  2. Tonifies the Kidneys, tonifies Yang and grasps Qi
    Impotence, spermatorrhea
    Coldness and pain of the feet
    Wheezing and shortness of breath from insufficient Kidney Yang
  3. Benefits Qi and promotes lactation
    Insufficient lactation

Suggested Daily Dosage: 3-9g in decoction.


Cautions: It is contraindicated in case of yin deficiency with effulgent fire and cough with lung-heat.
