Wu Xin Re, also translated as Five Centre Heat (but literally "Five Hearts Heat"), this is heat manifesting on the Yin surfaces of the body, especially the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet and the chest. It is mainly indicative of Yin Deficiency with Fire, Blood deficiency, or Empty Heat and Stagnant Liver Heat following illness and is one of the common symptoms of Deficiency Taxation and consumptive diseases.
