Pattern: Early Stage Damp-Heat Accumulation in the Lung from Coronavirus infection

Key Symptoms: Low or no fever, slight chills, fatigue, heavy head and body, muscle soreness, dry cough, sore throat, dry mouth without desire of drinking much water
Secondary Symptoms: Chest tightness, no sweat or sweating, vomiting and loss of appetite, diarrhoea, sticky stool

Tongue: Reddish body, with white, thick and greasy or thin yellow coat
Pulse: Slippery or soggy


Ingredients

Bing Lang 10g
Cao Guo 10g
Hou Po 10g
Zhi Mu 10g
Huang Qin 10g
Chai Hu 10g
Chi Shao 10g
Lian Qiao 15g
Qing Hao 10g (added later)
Cang Zhu 10g
Da Qjng Ye 10g
Gan Cao 5g (raw)

Subsitutions:
Several herbs have to be substituted in the UK but the formula can be used as a base with which to derive others.


Preparation: Decoction. Boiled with 400 ml water, taking 1/2 of the dose in the morning and 1/2.


Actions: Transforms Dampness and clears Heat, moves stagnation and stop coughing
