Key Symptoms: Dark complexion, cold and oedematous lower extremities, tinnitus, hearing loss, emaciation, weakness of the legs and knees, urinary difficulty, lower back pain


Ingredients

Shu Di Huang 9g
Shan Zhu Yu 9g
Shan Yao 9g (dry fried)
Mu Dan Pi 9g
Fu Ling 6g
Ze Xie 6g
Lu Rong 3g
Rou Gui 3g
Bao Fu Zi 9g
Wu Wei Zi 9g

Subsitutions:
In the UK Lu Rong and Fu Zi must be substituted. Replacements include:
Fu Zi == Gui Zhi + Xian Mao
Lu Rong == Rou Cong Rong + Xu Duan


Preparation: Originally ground into a powder and formed into pills with honey and taken on an empty stomach with salted wine. May also be prepared as a decoction.


Actions: Warms and tonifies the Kidney Yang
