Pattern: Accumulation and steaming of Damp-Heat in the Intestines

Key Symptoms: Bloody stools with fresh red blood, bowel movements preceded by bleeding
Secondary Symptoms: Difficult defecation, bitter taste

Tongue: Yellow greasy coating
Pulse: Soggy rapid pulse


Ingredients

Di Yi
Qian Cao Gen
Huang Qin
Huang Lian
Zhi Zi
Fu Ling


Preparation: Equal amounts ground into a powder and taken in 6-9g doses.


Actions: Cools the Blood, stops bleeding, clears Heat, dispels Dampness
