Pattern: Cold in the Gallbladder following a severe illness

Key Symptoms: Fatigue and insomnia.


Ingredients

Zhu Ru 6g
Zhi Shi 6g
Zhi Ban Xia 6g
Chen Pi 9g
Zhi Gan Cao 4.5g
Sheng Jiang 12g


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Warms the Gallbladder.



Notes:
This is the original Wen Dan Tang formula that is directed at warming a cold Gallbladder using the same herbs but minus Fu Ling and Da Zao, and a higher dose of Zhi Gan Cao and Sheng Jiang.
