Pattern: Irregular menstruation due to Phlegm and Dampness obstructing the Chong Mai

Key Symptoms: Delayed menstruation or amenorrhea, decreased menstruation that is light in color and viscid, scanty periods.
Secondary Symptoms: Palpitations of the Heart, shortness of breath, epigastric fullness, lassitude of limbs, profuse sputum in the throat, loose stools, obesity, infertility, leukorrhea, dizziness,a heavy sensation in the head, chest oppression, nausea, increased vaginal discharge.

Tongue: Pale and swollen with white, greasy coat
Pulse: Slippery


Ingredients

Zhi Ban Xia 6-9g
Chen Pi 6g
Fu Ling 6g
Gan Cao 2g
Cang Zhu 3g
Xiang Fu 4g
Dan Nan Xing 6g
Zhi Ke 3g
Dang Gui 6g
Chuan Xiong 6g
Sheng Jiang 2sl

Subsitutions:
In the UK Dan Nan Xing must be substituted with Tian Zhu Huang or Zhu Ru and Tian Nan Xing.


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Resolves Phlegm, eliminates Dampness, regulates Qi, regulates menstruation.
