Pattern: Early stage measles where the surfacing of the rash is blocked

Key Symptoms: Rash with fever, absence of sweating, cough, sore throat, irritability, thirst and dark urine


Ingredients

Sheng Ma 3-6g
Ge Gen 3-9g
Qian Hu 3-6g
Xing Ren 6g
Jie Geng 3-6g
Zhi Ke 3g
Jing Jie 3g
Fang Feng 3g
Bo He 3g
Mu Tong 3-6g
Lian Qiao 6g
Niu Bang Zi 6g (dry fried)
Dan Zhu Ye 3-6g (dry fried)
Gan Cao 1.5-3g

Subsitutions:
In the UK Mu Tong must be substituted with Qu Mai.


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Releases the Exterior, vents rashes, stops coughing, improves the functioning of the throat.
